TERRA is a non-woven, needle-punched geotextile available in 4, 6, and 8 oz weights. The felt-like mat is built to filter and let water flow through its thickness - exactly what French drains, retaining wall backfill, driveways, and erosion control need.
TERRA is a felt-like mat of polypropylene fibres punched together, so water moves through the thickness of the fabric instead of across it. That is what drainage and filtration need, and it is why a woven weed barrier is the wrong tool for the job.
Water passes through the body of the fabric while silt and soil fines are held back, so a drain keeps draining instead of silting up.
4 oz for simple drainage and separation, 6 oz for French drains and retaining wall backfill, 8 oz for road base and heavy stabilization.
